Unauthorised Products
It has come to our Group's attention that certain precision and health-related products appearing with Tanita's brand name and with strikingly similar design ("Unauthorised Products") are offered for sale at various websites by a company called PT Gelegar Langsing TBK (“PT Gelegar Langsing”).
We would like to stress that the trademark "Tanita" is the sole property of the Tanita Group of Japan ("Tanita Group").
It has always been Tanita Group's core value to pursue excellence and to provide our customers with the best quality products. Our products have always been produced in-house and we have never assigned nor licenced the trademark, "Tanita", to any products produced by third parties.
We therefore wish to clarify that PT Gelegar Langsing is not our authorised distributor nor has Tanita Group or our authorised distributors supplied any of our products to them.
Please note that Tanita Group does not guarantee the quality of the Unauthorised Products nor will such products be covered by our official warranty.
To ensure that our customers are protected and continue to have access to Tanita's best quality products and services, we have lodged a formal complaint to the law enforcement authorities against counterfeit Tanita products.
